I am crazy for ombre.  I loved it when Prada did a line of ombre bags a few years ago and I love it now, even though its saturated the marketplace.

My hair is a little ombre.  It started out as a product of my roots growing out, but then I liked it so much that I had it enhanced.

I am loving how ombre is transitioning into interiors and furniture.  I’m thinking someone is going to have to let me ombre their walls pretty soon!

I wear a lot of black.  The majority of my days consist of me in either all black, or blue jeans and a wife beater.  I don’t wear any jewelry, none.  I’m a simple girl.  I also think jewelry looks silly on me.

There is something appealing about the combination of black and brass.  Add a few mid-century pieces or some old worn wood and wow, yum.  Its so very sophisticated in its simplicity.

It’s just what I’m into right now.

I have been given the opportunity to design a yard in the hills here in LA.  The house and yard back up to rolling hills covered in native vegetation and I want to bring that down the hill and into the yard.  I am loving the organic messiness of large clumps of indigenous flora carpeting the hillside.

When I’m done, I hope it looks like I was never there…
