so cool

I presented to a potential client yesterday.  The space is a great open hangar with bow truss ceilings, concrete floors and lots of natural light.  It would be an awesome project and I had so much fun putting my presentation together.

There is one image that I included in the presentation that I can’t stop thinking about.  It’s perfection!

ombre

I am crazy for ombre.  I loved it when Prada did a line of ombre bags a few years ago and I love it now, even though its saturated the marketplace.

My hair is a little ombre.  It started out as a product of my roots growing out, but then I liked it so much that I had it enhanced.

I am loving how ombre is transitioning into interiors and furniture.  I’m thinking someone is going to have to let me ombre their walls pretty soon!

OBSESSION…

I was recently at the Beverly Hills Hotel and as I passed the iconic Fountain Coffee Shop on my way to the Polo Lounge for afternoon tea was again reminded of my longstanding love affair with the Hinson Martinique Wallpaper that graces the walls.  Whenever I bring this pattern up in a crowd, oohs and aahs erupt, as most people know and love this paper.

I dream of one day having a space where I can either use it in a living room or dining room I can’t make up my mind.  I think a large open space industrial loft would do as well, then I could have it all.  Here are some musings on how I would decorate around this iconic paper…
